Re: Cars n stuff
the new altimas ROCK!!!! we rented one a few weeks ago to make a road trip in. they are fun to drive. unfortunately the one we rented was only a 4 banger... but we did find out that it tops out at baout 140 mph on the highway.

the V6 is the exact same engine in the new maximas. so if you get the V6 altima, you get basically the same engine as the maxima but save about 10k or so.

as for the inside of the car. it is fairly roomy. we had rhyun, me, our 2 year old, and we had 2 ferrets in a travel cage for about 900 miles round trip... and we made it without going bonkers...

hope that this helped out. rhyun is really the one who knows more about this. if you have any other questions drop us a line okay hun?

Okay BCB, here's my answer to this.... you can't go wrong with any Nissan vehicle, they are all bullet proof and stand behind them 100 percent, go for it!!!

LOL sad thing is you actually know it wouldn't be a first.

and I test drove a few cars today... mostly just from boredom and not actual interest but between an 05 grand prix(they wrecked that car since the 97 model, the fucktards)... a base model charger(not worthy of the name in the slightest)... and a 4.5 altima (i actually liked the interior which is listed as its major flaw in most reviews)

needless to say anyone i ask has the same opinion of these cars.. think I'm sold. now i just need to find that bag of cash on the side of the road.

Guess I've only got to see the cars from a distance... after you have your discovery of that bag full of money, I want to take it out for a spin.

Re: Cars n stuff
BCB, I personally know someone who deals with Nissans at work every day.... Mazdas, too. Both are good, dependable cars. There are a few glitches in some of the newer model Mazdas, but pretty much all of the Nissan and Mazda vehicles are worth getting!

The Mazda 6 would be a good car for you

I think so.. its the only car that I cant find at least one person to say something bad about it. at least not things that matter. now its just save, and save, and save, and drool, and save, and save.

Michigan! Lived there for the first twenty-some years of my life. They LOVE to seriously salt their roads in the winter (Upper and Lower peninsulas). Your car(s) get rust, rusty, rustier with each year if you drive in Michigan winters! You can pay all the money you have for all the undercoating/rustproofing you want, doesn't f**king matter. Michigan is beautiful just about anywhere you go, but you'd better drive an aluminum or fibreglass car in the winter!

Re: Cars n stuff
Before you decide to purchase a foreign vehicle ask yourself where the money going? we as Americans for to long have sent are money over sea and this country is losing jobs at a fast pace because of it. I'd ask that you look at GM and some of what they have to offer most of the cars get good gas mileage and the Quality gap had narrow the past few year and yes I know that a lot of foreign car company have factory's over here now that build and make jobs for us here. I only say this because I work for the Auto industry here and believe that for a long time now most Americans believe that we build a poor product which is far from true I find that the G6 is a fine auto and can go head to head with the Altima any day of the week it has nice styling and the retractable roof on it is sharp by the way i don't work at that factory but I had the chance to test drive one I know I will here a lot of feed back on this one feel free

Re: Cars n stuff
The thing about foreign cars is this.... it's a joint effort are the part of different countries. Some are assembled overseas and sent over here to be fitted with all the accessories. Foreign automobiles DO indeed provide jobs for Americans as well!

And if I would've been paying attention I would've seen that you mentioned that....

Everyone I have talked to about the Altimas are all very pleased with them. You may want to check on recall history for that extra peice of mind
