YANKEE STADIUM
I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Yankee Stadium (Yankees vs Red Sox) yesterday. The moment I saw the field lit up with the lights, I was impressed. Nice layout and the seating, no matter where, is fan friendly.
I, being a Red Sox fan, am predudice toward Fenway Park, but I have to hand to George Steinbrnner, he definetly has a winner; the team as well as the stadium. You can just feel the winning history. Compared to Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park is a freakin' men's room at the Port Auhority.
A new stadium is in the works adjacent to the existing one. The only problem with that plan is, it's in a shitty area, old and run down, very traffic congested and almost impossible to navigate. I say build the new place in a more friendly (New York?) area.
The game last night was rained out so the make-up game is scheduled for this sunday. I'm looking forward to my journey back to that place tomorrow.
I'm still a die hard Red Sox fan. I'm used to them being also-rans. I've got to admit though, 2004 was a great year and I love to rub it the noses of my Yankee fan relatives. Imagine, the Yanks up 3 games to none, only to choke on the big one. Fucking beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: YANKEE STADIUM
Good Morning (As this is part of my morning routine to review the forums, drinking coffee and waking up my little fingers to type this). Ir was nice to see your post about Yankee Stadium,
I have been to Yankee Stadium only once, to see a Pink Floyd concert, and I lived in Connecticut (45 minutes away from the Stadium) all my life (here in PA only over a year now).
And.... I have never been to a live baseball game, especially the Yankees being my favorite team, hopefully one day my dream will come true, (I'm waiting)
