Self-improvement...
So...about those things you know you need to change about yourself...
Do you put off changing and improving some things because your partner, friends and/or family just accept these things about you?
Do you need to be nagged, or do you have a tendancy to rebel against being pushed?

Re: Self-improvement...
I would love to lose my final 8 pounds of baby fat, but my partner never complains and seems to enjoy being the thin one right now, so I am letting it ride.

Re: Self-improvement...
There are times I think I want to unload my baggage - however, I then realize that all the old crap has to be drug back up and acknowledge. That sucks a lot - so then I just deal with it myself and go on. I have done that for years and I have gotten really good at it - and I have improved. I just know there is always another layer to unravel!

Re: Self-improvement...
I can certainly lose 15 pounds not to mention I need to be more organized and neat... oh well, I am too busy right now to worry about it, and my kids don't seem to care.

Re: Self-improvement...
I take a different approach. Fixing my flaws is too much work. Instead I start with a fresh new set of friends and hang out with them until they notice my flaws. Then I dump em and get a new set of friends. Um...you guys haven't noticed flaws yet, have you?

Yeh, when I need a haircut, my wife will "remind" me so often that I'll get it cut just to end those lovable "reminders". Hey, I still have most of my hair so I want to enjoy what I got for a little while!!!
By the way, I do "condition" my hair. What a shock, I have no grey hair. Must be genetics!!!!!

Re: Self-improvement...
I need to change my singing habits. There's a commercial on our oldies station with a woman calling in saying, "I love my oldies. People think I'm crazy driving down the road singing and moving to my favorite songs!" My daughter says that's me. She nags me all the time to quit.... especially when she's in the car

Re: Self-improvement...
Don't worry about it moon, I make up songs all the time, A bad habit I aquired in the military. I can only sing them in certain crowds though, cuz they would be censored to the max.
