Re: BBQ's
My speciality is getting stuff to go black and hard on the outside, while still being raw on the inside!
But my philosophy is that MEN COOK WITH FILE!! so after a few attempts everything comes out uniformly burnt

Leg of lamb, heavily seasoned with garlic, salt & vinager turned slowly on a rotisserie over indirect heat from mesquite and charcoal. 20-25 min p/lb for a medium pink inside (140-150 degrees inside with meat thermometer) and beer. Most delicious!

Never tried BBQ... kinda hard to expect BBQ sauce to really fill you up for a so called meal. I call them Sloppy Joes.

Gator, Shark Yummmy!!
Beef Kabobs, Chicken Kabobs.
Wrap up some Salmon Steaks, or Talapia with veggies in foil.
Eggplant, mushrooms.
A nice juicy NY Strip Steak medium rare, or good old beef hot dog, or sweet/hot sausage.
Chicken breast.
Pork chops.
Shrimp, or Scallops.
Baked potatoes(nuke them first, won't take as long to BBQ).
All of the above have a different marinating sauce for them, YUMMMM!!!! Except the potatoes, no marinating them. Oh, and no marinating the hot dog or the sausage.

Re: BBQ's
I dont know why but what ever gets BBq'D at this house always winds up with "sweet baby rays" bbq sauce on it. If I eat meat, which is not very often, it is always deer, buffalo, austrich, or wild turkey, I use to do alot of fish, salmon, cod, mackrel, but lately the reports say that the fish have toxic levels of PBC, Mercury, and bio-hazardous waste that are dumped in the ocean in millions of tons by other countries.
