Phone vs Text
What do people prefer now a days...talking on the phone or text messaging?...(e-mail)
I prefer to hear the other persons voice. allot of times one can tell how someone feels over the phone by the sound of their voice. if they are in a good or bad mood or if they like or dis-like what was said.
other than that i like e-mail because one could get back to the other when its convenient. plus there is a hard copy of what was said in case the other denies the conversation.

Re: Phone vs Text
Phone for me also. Text for that quick message. But with my new phone, I've not yet got that messaging thing down. My old phone unfolded to a full key board.

Re: Phone vs Text
Mostly I love the phone! I love to hear his voice and feel the shivers when he says "I love you". When I am busy or I know he is, text messaging makes it easy to just send a quick pick me up - or even to just send instructions to the kids

Re: Phone vs Text
I prefer the phone. It's much more personal and one can tell by the other person's voice how serious she is.

Re: Phone vs Text
i prefer the phone, but emails at times are just easier. we have a 2 year old who thinks that EVERY time you get on the phone she HAS to talk on it... or screech loudly in the background...

Re: Phone vs Text
When our girls were young all three of them got loud whenever one of us was on the phone. It was also a time that they would choose to argue and fight with each other.

Re: Phone vs Text
i have a blackberry that i use for e-mails & text. (it also has a phone)What i really like about e-mails is that one doesn't have to respond right away.could think about what to e-mail or gives me time to collect info. for a response instead of having to call back

Re: Phone vs Text
Text is nice in the way that you can understand a person... if they can type worth a ****, that is But, yeah, I'd have to agree that phone is MUCH better! Even if you have to say, "say that again!?," over and over....
