With one other person
stranded on a tropical island or in a cabin on a snow covered mountain?

I would pick the cabin. Our bodies would keep each other warm. A tropical island would have too many insects.

Well I live in the hot "tropics" so I guess the mountains would be a nice change ---- as long as I am not the one who is expected to shovel the driveway.

Much as I may claim I dislike snow with a passion, I don't know what I'd do without it. It's just expected to get cold and snowy around here and I wouldnt trade it for anything else.

Let's see... Tropical Island... Plenty of food, sun and sand. Visions of The Blue Lagoon... Cabin in the Mountains... Warm fires, plenty of snow, leading to canabalism. Visions of Flight 209... And the winner is...Tropical Island!...
