Sex Parties
I notice that there are sex parties listed in the Cummunity section. Do these parties actually happen? Judging from the responses I gather that not many of them do. Has anyone been to any of the parties?

I suppose they could happen - but it is difficult to set one up. I attended an internet board ' get together ' in Baltimore a year ago, and of the 20 or so people who said they were coming, only 6 of us showed up. It was fun - but we went home unsexed - since it wasn't a 'sex party'.
I would have trouble with gathering with a group for sex, unless everyone had a way to prove 'clean, disease free and permitted by spouse'.

The clean disease free issue is a big concern for me too. Even if a party did occur how can everyone know that each person is clean, disease free and not into drugs. Safe sex I guess could be one method of ensuring no disease is transmitted. I would be leery about attending such a party myself unless everyone could prove that they were clean and disease free. It could be very arousing though could it not?

Oh, the idea is wonderful, but I simply can't see the 'sex' part happening on the first group get together . I suppose - some research into HIV/STD testing and how to be 'assured' would be a good addition to that section of WN. I know there are people who carry 'clean cards' which are updated frequently, but I don't know enough about them to speak with knowledge.

Well, Ma and I just had physicals, even thing is OK. We three could always hook up some where. 
OK it was just a thought.

A few years ago on another site, there was a Halloween party that I was suppose to go to, it wasn't a sex party, but couldn't due to family circumstances, I was very upset that I didn't have a chance to meet up with all the people that I had been became acquaintances with.
