Birds - A Poem by PleasantNight
Outside my chamber glass,
Sweet musical notes in the morning,
reach my ears,
waking me with a smile.
The flutter of a wing,
the blue crest and yellow bill.
The black and red rush of noise
And the chatter of the song.
Peaceful early birds in the morn,
Cleaning, eating and preening.
Singing their beautiful song
Waking me with a Smile.
Great white smelly streak
running down my windshield glass
splashing on my shoulders
Ruining a new suit.
Fucking birds.
Where is my shottygun
Song or no song
Tommorow a different Smile.

Nobody likes my poetry. I think I'll pitch a birch.

Nobody likes my poetry. I think I'll pitch a birch.
I think it is very beautiful.

Re: Birds - A Poem by PleasantNight
A birds perspective (a crap poem)
I flew as lonely as a cloud,
Over hills of high and vales of low
Why those humans replaced the lush
green trees and grass with tarmac
and concrete, I will never know
I'll still eat the worms and pinch the
seeds the farmer tries to sow
But when the time is right,
I'll take revenge and shit on them below!

Re: Birds - A Poem by PleasantNight
Every single morning
A bluejay visits me
He lands upon my windowsill
To see what he can see
He's noisy but a handsome bird
So I've put up with his mouth,
Can I stand this noise this winter too?
'Cause bluejays don't fly south
So I slowly raised the window
I set down a piece of bread
And when he bent to pick it up
Slammed said window on his head
