Why is it?
PEPPER...
I'm going to assume you know the answer to this one. Was looking across some sites for halloween costumes (yay! I'm so excited!!!) *ahem, back to the question.. and ran across this Forplay site that had sexy type of costumes that was listed along with the other type of costumes. Note to self: I don't have the proper portion size body to wear those kinds of costumes.

Anyways, while looking through the site of Forplay they had a section for shoes as well, so I took a gander and heres where the question came to mind.
What's with the strippers/dancers, etc... for wearing high heels? I on occasion like to wear high heels if it calls for it, but heels those high, I don't think I could make it through the occasion let alone the first hour of wearing it.
Basically, what's the story behind it? Fill me in, woman!

Note to BC: you would look great in those costumes.
I would just bet that if you put on those shoes, there would plenty of poles to play on. 
I don't know the reason why, but I think there is some sort of rule that exotic dancers and XXX film stars are mandated to wear them. They do make some women look very sexy . But, I'm not a great fan of them. I'd probably get stabbed as the woman that was wearing them fell off those heels.

BC, darling, those shoes are for one thing only. To elongate your legs and jack your butt up (they also make you taller, lol), but the best effect and I think, the reason they came into being is, they make a man want to chase you and then...well... *Ahem*  you...this is why in my line of work, they are called by another name...."catch me f*ck me" shoes...you can't run in them for sh*t, but for the reaction you get when you have them on, it's worth breaking your ankle (not that I ever have) to try! also, if you fall and there's a man in 10 feet, guaranteed you won't hit the floor!
I LOVE heels like that! I prefer 4 inch and up to 5 1/2 inches tall, but 3 is good too, anything over that and then it's just silly, lol.
as for costumes, BC, you can wear anything you like as long as you are comfortable in it. I totally agree with Funloving , I think you would look kick *ss in them!

I've seen women who just can't get the hang of wearing any high heel...they bend at the knees while they do a rather silly stomp, stomp kind of stride...it can take a little effort and practice.
When I wore high heels allot, hell...I could run track in 'em!

So that's the purpose, just to get a guy to catch you huh? I'd almost rather someone tell you your hands are beautiful and get laid than to be caught in midair in possibly looking like a fool after on the ground and not able to get up. LOL.
Then again, I'd blow the guy off anyhow because that'd be one helluva cheap pickup line! Better luck next time guys.

I use to wear heels all the time. but I'm more for the cowboy boots, sneakers. Got two left feet now so could be dangerous for who ever would be around me. and afraid to think of what I would look like, I'm not the dainty,ladylike person. If I put high heels on now i would probably kill my self.
