The Only One????????
I know I'll catch hell for this but, am I the only person alive that thinks a male or female, someone with a figure of say 5ft by 5ft, should maybe try to conceal as much of their girth as possible? Isn't there a maximum available size for white shorts?? Shouldn't there be a requirement for people of size to have some color to their skin, let's say at least approaching an earthtone?? And last but certainly not least, a ban on f**kin' ugly ass, disgustingly blue (to contrast their pasty white skin), tattoos be allowed to be worn by people who you'd think would want to avoid drawing attention to themselves? You'd think people would dress to accent their positives and not dress to draw attention to their negatives. I guess I'm old school, huh???
I came up with this rant after an identical visual experience at OLIVE GARDEN (the WALMART of I-talian resturants) a few nights prior.
Thanks to that person, sitting opposite my table, I didn't order much of a meal, but I had three cocktails.
Now the sh*t hits the fan............

looks like i'm the first one to reply here...
-open mouth and insert foot time-
i agree with you. one would think that people would dress in a way that is flattering not only to themselves, but also prevents them from being shall we say an eyesore to others....
i'm not a large person, but even bieng my size there are things that just don't look as flattering on me as they did 20 pounds or so ago. and i KNOW this, so i don't wear those things anymore. but i suppose that i am just old school too...

I know, I tried not to look, but she was a train wreck and she ploped herself right in front of me. I had no were to go.
There is absolutley nothing wrong with being a big person. Most of my family are overweight. You are what you are. But you try and present yourself in the best possible light, right? But a f**kin' tank top, nasty tattoos and a three sizes too small shorts on a three sizes too big body????
PPPPPPPPPPleeeeeeeze!!!!!!
Can you spell hoochy-mama?
Have some pride, will ya'!!!!!!

Re: The Only One????????
I guess this would be more taboo than anything.....Your damned if you do, and your damned if you don't!
However, I would have to say that anyone wearing three sizes to small regardless of their size would just look ridicules anyway!.....

Re: The Only One????????
I guess what I should of said is that I really do not care what size or shape a person is, as long as they have established my hygenic approval. I cannot change the people that are around me, But I can change the people that I am around.

This covers this topic really well.
I must admit however, that, when at a buffet and I see obseenly obese people, I can't help but ask. "EAt here often?"

Re: The Only One????????
While I do not enjoy seeing obese people - at any time, I can quite understand their reluctance to limit their lives because of their physiques.
There is more to life than looking good (not for me of course).
