Do you have a set routine every morning?
When you get up before work do you follow the same routine to get yourself ready?
I usually follow the same routine, wash up, shave, exercise, check weather and sports on TV, go on computer for about half an hour and chat with friends, get dressed, make and eat breakfast, make coffee for wife, brush teeth, more computer for about another half hour then wash breakfast dishes. Get newspaper from mail box, put lunch and newspaper in briefcase, wake wife up and leave for work. Today I did things differently and it was a nice refreshing change. I think I will change something else tomorrow.

My main goal every morning...is to get the grumpy silly husband out the door for work as soon as possible, the rest of my day after that is open..

I'm hoping it's your underwear!
I get up around 5:30. Watch a little news, drink my coffee in peace. Wake up the kiddos around 6:30, get 'em ready for school, make their lunches.... Take 'em to 3 different schools, put up the flag at the cemetery, come home, drink some more coffee... Then, if I have time, I learn a new language!

Re: Do you have a set routine every morning?
Usually Ma is up around 5:00 am, gets ready for work. Wakes me up about 5:30 so I can get her to work. Then watch the morning news, go back to sleep until about 9:30am, then get up and . Get into computer and see what's going on in WN. About 11:30 its time to get breakfast and shower and get ready for work. By 12:30 its off to work I go...

If I am working at the college, I get up,around 4 if I am going to run, or 6 is not running, 3 times a week I run around 2 miles, get home, shower, wake up my son, put the water on for tea, get dressed, get my son dressed, and out the door - hopefully with my tea (sometimes I forget to bring it with me)

Just how many languages do you speak, I'm fluent in two, know two more well enough to get by, if it doesn't involve a real detailed conversation.

Re: Do you have a set routine every morning?
I try to open my eyes, crawl to the shower, get dressed while listening to 3 VERY specific songs that make my day (the power of music) and then leave home. I have breakfast and coffee at work.

Re: Do you have a set routine every morning?
OMG...Routine?... Sometimes just waking up can be a chore... I thank the big above, cause if I get up, that can only mean that I didn't die the night before...If I had to pick one though, it would consist of;
1. Wake up
2. Walk around aimlessly for sometime hours wondering what I'm suppose to do next.
3. (And this one's optional) Get dressed
