Bitch bitch bitch!!!
I know I've started a topic about this somewhere but I can't seem to find it!! 
First week of school and everyone's sick! Had one kiddo stay home Friday. They all went today, by golly!! They felt well enough to go. If they pass it to someone else's kid, oh frickin' well? They got it from someone else's kid!!!
Ok, I know it's not right to say that.... hehe.... I'm sorry. But dangit! It pisses me off that we can send a man to the moon but we can't find a cure for the common cold!!! There's something seriously wrong here!! 
Ok, I'm done... but only for NOW!!
Who's next? Anyone???

Some schools around here started at the beginning of August! They're trying to move it back up to after Labor Day. I'm torn on that decision

Isn't it amazing how our kids can be fine ALL summer long and within weeks BAM, they catch something!! It usually takes ours about 3 weeks into school. I hate it when the schools make a big deal about perfect attendence! But then again it is all about the money! And here anyway, they are only allowed to miss six days in the semester for what ever reason, or they have manditory Saturday school or summer school!

I hear that! They sent a note home with one of my kids last year about being on the verge of missing too many days. It's not wonder the kids there are sick all the time. That school has been there for over 20 years! They have a bad mold problem, the bathrooms get backed up all the time. Hell, they didn't fix the leaky roof till the fire marshal checked it out and wrote 'em up for it! We didn't get the matching grant from the state for the new primary school last year but thank goodness we did this year! It's too late for my 3 oldest, but at least tater will have a new, CLEAN school to go to! Sometimes you just wanna ring someones frickin' neck!!!
