Set in your ways?
Do you resent changes, or adapt to them? Do you like waking up everyday with the comfort of seeing the same things in the same place, or do you like to rearrange and reorganize once in awhile? If your favorite chair or recliner starts showing wear, do you start shopping for something newer and better, or slap on some duct tape and keep "your old friend"?

Re: Set in your ways?
I like some changes in things but not all. Some change is good other changes can be uncomfortable. I like furniture to remain mostly in the same places. I do like changes in methods and routines though and especially when it comes to sex.

I am a Virginian. Nothing that has changed since 1863 is worth a damn.

Re: Set in your ways?
I'm a big believer in change. I think change is a great way to give your life a bit of a boost. I think you can avoid depression if you don't fall into a rut. Life is good, the one thing you can depend on are the forces of earth changing it...with you or without you. If it is your choice to resist change, your life could be a roller coaster, if you embrace it, you can ride the roller coaster. Have a happy day!!!

Re: Set in your ways?
I have learned that change can be very good for you!......I love change!....I am one that has to move all the furniture around frequently!.....Love to see all the possibilities!......I guess that also falls under the category that I can see good in anything!.......I can look at a house that is about to fall down, and yet see the incredible potential ....To me, to do the same thing day in and out can only lead to a boring life....To have nothing to look forward to can't make life interesting!....

Re: Set in your ways?
I love a change of scenery, and will often wake up extra early, and spend the whole day changing a room, sewing all new curtains and pillow covers, moving furniture, sprucing things up with a little paint, etc...

Re: Set in your ways?
Hey this is great we are all online at the same time. I find that most change is very good. Change is something that is going to happen throughout life so we as people must adjust. Some of us adjust more willingly than others. The big change in my life is having to go without sex. My wife only offers sex about once a year, if I am lucky, and it is when she is in the mood, usually on a night when she is unable to sleep. As soon as she has an orgasm she turns over and goes to sleep. Most of the time she leaves me hanging. I go to sleep with the same erection and wake up in the morning to find that it is still up and she is snoring away. I am tired of bringing myself to orgasm with my hand. A big change for me that I hope to see happen is to find a woman who will not only let me please her but will also please me sexually.

Re: Set in your ways?
I don't mind change as long as it doesn't affect me too much. Ok, yeah yeah, I'm set in my ways. It's my dad's fault, the old coot!

I'm afraid to ask . . . . what happened in 1863? Shall I just save us all some time and repair immediately to the Dungeon of Stupid Yankees?

Re: Set in your ways?
I do welcome changes in my life, but also like the consistancy that the established ways have. Nothing makes a life more relaxed than knowing how everything will work.
This is why I hate changing companies. However this was a necessary change.

Re: Set in your ways?
I am a lot better than my dad at adapting to change, I must admit. Depends on the type of change, though.

Re: Set in your ways?
Whoever said change is good blows...new and improved, just means made cheaper and someone here lost a job. Guess I'm kinda of old fashioned, but I've always looked at things as..If it ain't broke...don't fix it !!!

Re: Set in your ways?
Okay so I am set in my ways, mostly it is that I am used to being in charge, and it is difficult for me to step down, but believe me I am learning how to take a back seat and sometimes - I even enjoy it.
