How opinionated are you?
When there's a commentary or news story, do you yell and argue with the TV, do you ever see, hear or read something that makes you sit right down to your computer and fire off a rebuttal?
The last time I did this, I sent an email to the Lamisil people telling them I was sick of seeing their gross little cartoon advertisement, it disgusted me in the middle of a meal time one time too many!!! Ah yes...I was in a real mood that day!

Yup, I do argue with the TV, I have also stopped in my car and argued with some people in my town who are on a corner every Thursday, protesting something i believe in . I have also done firing a letter off, but have never gotten a response, yet.

Re: How opinionated are you?
The TV is the worst form of propaganda, it is geared to piss you off, and sway your way of normal thinking and its usualy lies about Wars Drugs, and food, multi billians of dallars worth of grugs are sold over TV, and non of the drugs cure a thing( except for a few antibiotics ofcourse) but the rest of the crap makes you think you feel better by altering your bodies chemistry, whereby causing the need of more drugs, its a viciouse cycle brought to you by the FDA and the AMA curriculum that is sponsored and directed by all the drug companys, then aproved by the FDA. Hypocrites said: Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.

I so agree with that...it's all about the ratings and what station or news team brought you the stories you'll talk about around the water cooler that day..

Chazzy, I can get pretty opinionated, especially someone wants to argue with me. A lot of people like to use emotion in their arguements. I like to use my mind.

Re: How opinionated are you?
With the idiocy in todays media, I spend more time yelling at my TV than watching it...guess thats why I usually only watch History, Discovery, Animal Planet and the movie channels. Not too many stupid ass commercials or politics on those.

Then I'm in trouble. I talk to my self all the time. I even answer myself. And I yell at the TV during football games.

I have been told I am opinionated, but I disagree - after all if I always am right does it mean I have an opinion or doesn't it mean I am just right????

Re: How opinionated are you?
Years ago there was this one commercial on TV from a furniture store and for the entire 30 minutes of the commercial the guy was yelling his message. I mean really yelling. Me, my family and my friends were turned off on the store because of this outrageous commercial. I phoned the store one day and complained to the manager about the offending commercial. A month later the store went out of business. I phoned the manager again and said that I was happy that he was going out of business. He asked me why and I replied because your commercials turn people away and they are offending. I said who wants to shop at a store that would air a commercial where a person yells to the people to come buy furniture. It gives us the impression that your sales people are pushy. A matter of fact when I spoke to a co-worker one day she said that the sales people at this store were very pushy. She said she went there with her husband to look over the furniture one Saturday and they had trouble leaving the store. The sales people would not take no for an answer. It was nice not haveing to hear and see those annoying commercials again.

Ideally, you meant 30 seconds, right?
