Sentimental attachments
What is the most sentimental item you own? Something that regardless of it's monetary value, you could never, ever part with....

Re: Sentimental attachments
I had a crystal that I used to wear around my neck but I seem to have misplaced it Oh well, I'm sure it's safe somewhere.
I may be a little strange and this is I know but.... when one of my pets dies, I usually bury them with something that was sentimental to me. It just feels right

Re: Sentimental attachments
I have to admit, I don't keep a lot of sentimental stuff. I have lots of pictures - especially of my children and I enjoy looking back at those. My talisman though is a medal from Iraq that was sent to me by my best friend. Whenever I get stressed or even sometimes during public speaking - I reach into my pocket and rub it between my fingers to remind myself, I am loved and trusted - so get to it!

Re: Sentimental attachments
I just gave away something I had a strong sentimental attachment to...a piece of art glass, the very first thing I ever bought on my own from an antique shop way back when I was barely a teenager.
But someone very dear to me was moving all the way across the country, and something with a huge sentimental value seemed to be the only true fitting going away gift...

Re: Sentimental attachments
I have two things:
One is a small plastic Heart that came attached to a Valentine card from my Father when I was very young. I don't know why, but I kept it. Probably because it is the only time he ever sent me a "heart" or any symbol of love.
The other is my first saddle. An ancient half rotted piece of leather - the one I learned to ride and jump on when I was a kid.
