When things went bad thread
I here to ask advice to all that will give it. I said something really bad the other day kind of put my foot in my mouth in response to something that was said to my son won't go into to much detail here but I feel very bad about my response I was flat out being mean, How would I make ahems, I love to be able to grow from this experience.

Re: When things went bad thread
I agree, people can tell when you are sincere - let them know you are sorry for what you said. Also, If your son was present when it was said - you should also let him know that it was not appropriate and that you are taking the proper steps to rectify it. That way you both are learning a lesson - he will learn that there are times to be the bigger man and appologize, even if it can be humiliating.
I commend you for admitting when you are wrong!!

Re: When things went bad thread
I don't think you need to apologize for being "defensive" about your son, just apologize for doing it in a "mean" way?
