Professions?
Since the forum is similar to a party (always meeting and enjoying new people) it occurred to me that when you meet some one at a party, something that usually comes into the conversation is asking where who youre talking to works. So I pose the question, what do you all do for a living?

I work with glass. Anything really like Windows and Bathroom mirrors to stained glass and Art Glass. I was actually talking about this briefly in another post but just today we finished up installing a glass waterfall in a hospital lobby here in columbus.

Re: Professions?
I own an environmental company thats broken into a few divisions. We sell environmentally preferrable cleaning supplies, do lead abatement and have whole division dedicated to the auto repair and maintenance industry. We started in 91 as an oil filter recycling company and built off of that. We process about 800 drums of filters per month.

I cant understand why you wouldnt want to talk about that? I think its great. I know an 18 year old that MADE $30k last year by doing the exact same thing. Not only is she learning entrepreneurism, but how many 18 year olds can make that much money working part time? If I had an eye for it, I'd be doing it too. Best of luck Chazzy!

Never said I don't like to work with wood anymore. I just wear protection now
I installed cabinets for several years with my dad. Also did trim work and remodels... built entertainment centers, bookcases, you name it! He was more strict with me than he ever was with my brothers and it paid off. The hubby and I laid the hard wood floor in our house.... if I need to completely redo the kitchen, I don't need help. Plus, I get the cabinets at a 70% mark down. Can't beat that! Construction runs in the family
