Leaving everything
Ever feel like you just needed to just up and leave... completely start over? new town, new faces, new you... did you do it? what gave you the balls to actually do it?
any regrets about it?

I did it.. retired---moved here from NY and dont regret it. Best thing ive done 4 me in a long time.

I don't know if i would do it b/c i have my family in nc!!!!But i woun't go back to my home town where i was born!!!I don't mind move out of the country!!If things work out well!!!

We did it! Moved 4 states away from all friends and family. It honestly was the best thing that we have ever done for ourselves. Coming from a very, very small town in which you are stuck in a mold and can never get out - we have been able to grow and achieve more than we ever dreamed possible. There are a lot of positives to small town living - but also a lot of negatives. I only have one regret and that is that I can not be there instantly for family and friends that need help, a shoulder, or just a hug. However, I can not think of one relationship that has not improved due to our move!

Ma and I are considering it. Maybe moving to another town about 70 miles away, but that may or may not happen. We've even considered moving to Southwestern part of the states, but won't be for about 7-8 years yet. That's when I'll reach mandatory retirement age.
