Take me out to the ballgame.......
Last evening, I took my two nephews, aged 13 and 7, to see a NEW BRITAIN ROCK CATS minor league ball game. Great place, great game. The boys had a great time with all the food and getting autographs.
I also had a great time myself while being distracted around the 4th inning. I happened to notice about 10 rows in front of me, A woman Id say about 30 years old or so, breast feeding her baby. Now, I'm all for keeping your baby from crying so as not to disturb others but, breast feeding in plain sight of all those kids? I think she thoght she was being discrete but I, being about ten rows up from her, had a great vantage point. Some people around her were elbowing each other and others either didn't notice or didn't care. I was a little jealous of that baby actually!!
She finally "shut down the bar" and continued to watch the game. I think the only ones aware of her "happy hour" were us nosey adults. The kids seemed oblivious.
Do you think this was a little much for a family night event?

I'm seen this thing going on right in the mall. The mother will just sit down on any ole bench, whip her tit out, and let the baby latch on. They have nothing covering them up, so its right out there in plain view. It really doesn't bother me, so????

Hey eat --drink and be merry---as long as the kids content and not disturbing anyone else no harm--no foul.
As you said adults get more annoyed about it than kids do,
is it jealousy or just envy.??? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Re: Take me out to the ballgame.......
Believe it or not its illegal in some states to breast feed in public......Therefore all places must have a private place for mothers to be able to do that....I do think its CT, can't remember......
I did breast feed two of my children, and I hated to have whip mine out when they started to cry....I would go into a dressing room if I had to, or even sit on a toilet......But that was just my insecurities....
What other options do they have?......Is it fair to make them stop all activities until that stage is over......Its not easy to have to do.......But I can tell you after giving birth....Breast feeding at at ball game is nothing!......
You have to do what you have to do!
We have no control over when the baby is hungry just like we have no control over the adults who can't pry their eyes off us!....Go figure....

TOUCHE!! I was just trying to get a rise out of you experienced breast feeders. Hey it's natural, so WTF.
I have been in a delivery room at go time and you're right. Seeing a woman feed her baby, by what ever means, is small potatoes compared to watching her "squat thrusting a bowling ball".
All kidding aside, you ladies are a wonder!!! What would us poor fuckin' males do without ya? I cannot fathom the thought!!!!
