at the sound of the beep...
What's on your answering machine? The automated robot voice that comes with the phone, you're own simple "leave a message" or something witty, creative, silly?
Are there answering machine messages that annoy you or you find amusing?
How much do you rely on it to screen calls? Just sometimes, never, most of the time,or always?

Mine goes something like this.....
Me: "Hi, you've reached....
Katie: "***"
Sean: "***"
D.W.: "****"
Me: "Leave a message and we'll call ya' back!"
 
When tater starts talkin' real good, it'll be updated

I do screen all my calls, unless I'm expecting a certain call at a certain time...

I do, too. If it's my dad, I'll usually let him leave a message if I'm busy 'cause he's the king of BS'ers!!!

Ha! You too?? My dad can leave the longest messages on my answering machine, he just keeps talking, and talking, going on and on .....sometimes calling back again if his first message gets cut off!

Mine goes "Hello?......Hello?......Hellooooo? Oh yeah, Im not here, leave me one" You cant imagine how many times the message starts with "youre such an asshole!" and I laugh like hell everytime!

My kinda goes along with my job, in a fun way. Kinda goes like, can't come to the phone now, but maybe when I get out of (where I work), I might call you back...

We screen all our calls, when this thing isn't on...which is most of the time....just so we don't have to talk to anyone we don't want too. It's just the voice that came with the phone on the message...it's always either bill collectors or telemarketers anyway.

Hey!! I'm a Dad! Are you saying my daughter screens my calls? WTF! Why....she would never! well....maybe .....uh.....yeah! probably....half the time she speaks with me she is also taking a dump! lol!! That should tell me something, I guess!!!! Isn't life grand!
