Friends of the past
Still keep in touch with your elementary/high school friends? They doing what you thought they would grow up to be someday or not anything close to it? Want to be around them again, or not??
Spill them beans!

Have a few friends off of my space that I went to school with way back when. Ran across one of the profiles of a classmate I had (it was a class of five altogether) and he's now into pot (unless there's more to it and I don't know it yet) and it doesn't even impress me whatsoever. We all lost a good friend of ours back a few years due to drug use and getting hit by a train because of it. So the thought of this friend doing it, doesn't fly with me at all. Thought he was better than that and I guess sometimes they just don't turn out like you think.
Kinda sucks but what do you do?

The short answer is NO. Most of the friends I had in high school, which by the way has been a very long time ago, all seem to do the bar scene. I don't do that. My work schedule will not allow me to, and its not really my thing. My high school graduating class was about 290 of us. Most have moved to other states, some have died, some should have died. But all in all, I'm not looking for them, but will have friendly greetings when I do see them. Have not even been to a class reunion since my 5 year.

I regularly see only one of my high school friends, the rest of them I don't have the slightest idea where they are now. The funny thing is that I've kept contact with of my post-graduate friends, which is weird since I did my post graduate course in Scotland, and they are all from other countries.

My 3 best friends are all long time friends...4th grade, 6th grade and 10th grade...people are amazed we're all still friends from almost 30 years ago

i have one friend from my school years that i have kept in contact with, we have been best friends since we were 10 years old.

About 5 of my real old friends I still keep in contact with. And we have been friends , that is four of us for almost 55 years. I havent seen them face to face but still keep in contact as some of us are a few thousand miles apart now.

I speak to absolutely no one from high school....I went to public school until 11th grade.....And then ended up in private school for my last two years...It was a private school for boys up until the previous year I started, so the ratio was about 5:1, and there were only 51 in my graduating class, 201 in the entire school!......
Those from public school I will see around town being that I have stayed here and most people tend to come back to raise their families...It is a beautiful place to live not to mention convenient...However, the people from private school, I will hear about them once in a while, but haven't seen any since the day I graduated....Most are all over the world....(I was the only middle class at a rich private school) So they all had money already to live their lives to the fullest!.... 
I have found some have made it, some didn't, some surprised you how they turned out, and others are just like they were back then!.....
But its the ones that haven't grown up, and will still gossip and gloat in others misery, are the ones that I can do without!.......

Actually, my best friend from school has a daughter the same age as mine... they're best friends now. Of course, living in the same town I went to school in means that it's hard NOT to stay in touch with old friends. I like it!

This funny because I have jut started to date a girl that I date for two yrs in High School Yes we would running to each other from time to time but were both married. I tried to help her when she got divorced and then she helped me. Well not after three yrs of talking we went out on a date the 1st time yesterday and hope to keep it going.
As far as the guys I hung around with are either in jail or dead so I guess not keeping in touch with them. hehe

I see a few around town. But don't spend anytime with them. mostly they are spending time in the bars and I just don't do that.

There's only ... two, I believe, that I still hear from that I knew first from the early elementary now and then. Then again, kinda hard to get both of them together now as them two don't like each other anymore because of their own issues they had.
Kinda hard when you are friends with a lot of people and not all of them likes each other.
Why can't we all just get ALONG?!
