Saratoga ........
Did any of you go to SARATOGA RACETRACK this past Saturday (8/5)? My wife and I accompanied my elderly in-laws. to their favorite summer destination. The sky was clear for most of the day and the temperatures stayed in the low 80's with very low humidity. A picture perfect day!!
Did you know that in the movie "SEABISCIT", SARATOGA RACETRACK was featured in practically the entire movie. The place has history and ambience written all over it. You can feel it!
We just love the place. We always sit in the covered grandstand area, out of the intense sunlight and. there wasn't a cooler to be found in this section. Not a WALMART reject anywhere!!!
I pretty much broke even for the day, including all the admissions, food and drinks. A great and wonderful day!!!
My in-laws are beautiful people and they look forward to our journey to SARATOGA. They are in their mid 80's and who knows how many more times they'll be able to travel there (2 hours away).
Let me hear your opinions and experiences at SARATOGA.

Nope, never been there either, but I use to visit Fairmont Park, stepson was a jockey.

The only horse track I've been at is, Canterbury Downs, Shakopee, MN. Very nice track...
