Big trip of the year
Since the Rally in the great land of South Dakota is coming to the time of excitement... whose all going?! What's their plans? Have you ever been there? Ever want to? Have your own bike? Don't? Want your own bike? If so, what do you want?!

I don't attend Sturgis, but have many friends that do. They always have a good time.
Me?? I like all the state troopers in one place. 
Hope everyone attending Sturgis is safe and has a great time.

I've always wanted to go. Don't have my own bike but will some day. The best part for me would be the view on the way up there! I've always wanted to see the Black Hills

Never been there. But have many friends that have. They all have mixed experiences. One friend went there only to have to rent a car to get back home. They had bought some forks for the bike, and when the cops checked them out, they found out the forks had been stolen 20 years before. Kinda sucked for them. Other have had the best time of their life. Not able to go this year, and probably not able to go next, but will try for the year after that.

Its ammazing how they keep records that can help you like medical records for only 10 years, but if it is something to get you in trouble they keep it forever,,I guess I just have no use for the PD's that have turned into a momey making sham instead of helping you.

The one couple said, that they had laptops and were running every number on every bike they could. It was amazing how many bikes they took.

Ive been twice, first year rode bike out there, second year took on trailer. Its one big party,with breath taking views, some really good riding.

some of my friends stay at Deadwood and take seanic rides in the hills. Very relaxing!!

hey bikerchick69 im new to the site and i live in south dakota. just wondering where you live in south dakota. i have a bike but i dont know if i am going to make it to sturgis. hope everyone else has fun that is going too it. later

I usually go about every other year, but this year depends on how dads health is doing. If I do go it will be on my 1984 lowrider, " The Blue Lady"

Never been to Sturgis, and not that interested in bikes, but biker parties are definitly worth a trip ...we have a yearly one in Missouri, under the Bagnall Dam.
