A nice thread
Are you tired, like I am, of the battle between the sexes? Men and women are different. There's no question about it. But instead of focusing on the negative qualities of men and women,(mostly men) why not celebrate the positive qualities?
I can start with a couple that come to mind.
Women have the ability to keep smiling when they are so tired they can hardly stand up.
They will stop at nothing to get what they think is best for their children (best school, best prom dress, best dentist)
Hoping this doesn't turn into another thread about toilet seats.
Thanks, Gary

Re: A nice thread
a few years back, my kids and i were at my folks house. daddy and the kids were in the kitchen. as i walked into the kitchen, daddy suddenly grabbed a kid with each hand and literaly threw them into the next room. he grabbed the trash, dumped it and swept something off the counter into the trash can.
it was a two foot long rattlesnake. he had physically put himself between the kids and the snake. and risked being bitten to catch it. at the time he was 70 years old.
now, that's a man to look up to.

Re: A nice thread
I had a boyfriend once who was a perfect gentleman at all times. He opened doors for me, stood until I sat, rose whe I got up. He walked on the traffic side of the street, and held my hand when we crossed. He waited until I opened my door before driving away, and walked me to my car when I left his house. Best of all, he did it all naturally and without effort. (and he probably never thought I noticed).

Re: A nice thread
All the bickering does seem meaningless and spoils so much!
I cannot imagine a life without a good woman to love and be loved by. To me, we complete each other. A good woman brings out the best in a man. His protectivness, his caring, his cherishing, his wisdon, and gives him a sense of purpose that can last a lifetime.
I've had some bad experiences, including my Mother, and my EX. But I've had many wonderful experiences with good and loving women .
I'm seeing one now and she is wise, very loving, strong, wants to be cherished and loved and protected, and good for me. I could easily fall in love with her. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: A nice thread
this thread is really sweet. How nice to be only talking about positive qualities for a change.
and not talking about toilet seats.

Re: A nice thread
hey hothands, it is mid summer! I rarely am inside the house unless it is raining. Posting on the forums will have to wait for my breaks from summer fun and games. (and too much work)
