If I have a choice I'll be in the womans kitchen weather she can cook or not, we'll whip-up something,,hehe,,,

most chefs might be men, but i can cook a pretty good meal.. ryan on the other hand CAN cook.. just not "pretty" lol

Good question, I agree that it has something to do with monetary reward, and honestly respect. In the home it is more a thankless job that few appreciate, whereas in a resturant - you are considered a god, by sending out a meal to people who are paying.

chefs dont do the clean up. get rid of that and cooking is highly enjoyable.

my son is a chef at one of those hotsy totsy gourmet places...he is known as the son of the chef at Hell's Kitchen...and there have been times when he's cleaned up after firing or sending his dish washer home...lol
