Captain Kangaroo was a very well decorated gung ho veteran in WWII. He was described as the meanest son of a bitch I ever met by his platoon, Mr. Rodgers of Mr. Rodgers neighborhood was a Navy Seal. That ought to make you scratch your head for a while.
