QUOTE (justchange @ August 2, 2006, 13:56) QUOTE (funlovingpair @ August 2, 2006, 13:45)Anyway back to the global warming thing. And how do these so called well educated people know that the earth is actually warming up. It's not like there is a lot of historical records to go by. Being records have only been kept since the late 1800's. I know that they have been researching the polar ice cap in Antarctica for things like snow fall and any possible major global instances.
Moon, I think the great ball of fire they talk about, would a meteorite.
or the sun itself falling to earth?
it i now a proven fast that no matter what the us does to combate this, the "gobal warming"/ world pollution will not decrease.
Did we talk about you securing that sun better??? Sleeping on the job again. Damn it's hard to get good help..LOL..

Re: Fry an egg
Saw some impressive footage on the news this morning of a big ass tornado about 50 miles away from me...storms are moving in, just hope it's a storm I can dance outside in and not a storm I have to wait out in the basement.

The other day there was a tornado in south-central Minn. About 12 farms were damaged or totally gone. But atleast no one was hurt.

It's raining, it's pouring.......
Not too fond of the lights goin' out, but hey! I'll deal with it! Bad thing is, we're gonna have little mesquito breedin' ponds all over the yard where the cracks were. Some of 'em are big enough to sprang an ankle in!!

Re: Fry an egg
North Central Texas is getting a break today...forecast high is 94. 41 days over 100 this year, 18 in a row ...we have had a "top 10 hottest summer" already and still need to finish September to get out of that time period. It has also been very humid as well so the heat index has been up to 112 a couple of times. Weather trivia last night said we have only set 2 record highs this year...hard to believe! A friend of my daughters has just received an electric bill for $1000. They have a big home but that is bizarre......
