British Comedy
I was in the chat room this mornin' with a couple of people who shall remain nameless and we were discussing British Comedies. Monty Python, Are You Being Served, Vicar of Dibly, Keeping Up Appearances....
Which ones do you watch/like? They're all good!
If ya' wanna throw in a phrase from the show that you just can't get out of your head, go ahead, throw that in there too!
"The Bouquet (bucket) residents, the lady of the house speaking!"

Re: British Comedy
British comedy..good stuff.
for the longest time, several years i watched Are You Being Served and Benny Hill...
it always made me laugh and still does when someone would approach Mr. Humphrey's and inquire in his presence..."Mr. Humphrey's, are you free?" with no customer in sight anywhere in the store..Mr. Humphrey's would look around very deliberately and then say, "why yes iam."

Moon, that one is called "The Full Faulty Python," I think. The earthy people are your typical English eccentrics. You know, naked snake handling and such. Typical British fare.

Re: British Comedy
I know allot of the American TV comedies and shows are actually "rip offs" of British shows..."Three's Company" is the first one that comes to my mind...but I don't recall the original British show's title.

They've had an American version of The Office and Coupling. I didn't even give 'em a try.

Re: British Comedy
I kind of liked the American "Men Behaving Badly," but I'd have liked to see the original.
And, the classic seventies sitcom "All In The Family" was based on a British show, if I recall correctly.
