Oh my, that's a tough one! There are so many.
The movie that comes to mind at the moment is Raising Arizona. One of Cage's all time greatest movies! It's just hilarious and a little off kilter... kinda like me  National Treasure is another good one.
Books, I'd say anything by Dean Koontz..... Midnight was the first one I read by him and it's still my favorite.

i love the oldies and love to dance so it has to be 'dirty dancing' book is 'you are the world' by juddi krishnamurti really wipes away all your conditiong and the way we were brought up to think

I really enjoyed the movie The Patriot starring Mel Gibson. The best book i have read in a while would have to be To Kill A Mockingbird

wow, this is a tough one....For the book I would have to say "Inherit the Wind" it is the first book I read that challenged my upbringing without destroying my beliefs. For the movie - well I will have to be trite and girly and say "A Walk in the Clouds", where true loves conquers all, and family shows the way!

I love all of Garcia Marquez's books, as for a movie... hmmmm... One of my favs that I always watch when it's on TV is the "Hunt for Red October". Sean Connery just gets better & better

My all time favorite movie is a 1956 sci fi movie, Forbidden Planet. I will watch it every time I see it on tv. It stars Leslie Nielsen and Walter Pigeon. Was the intoduction of "Robby the Robot".
All time favorite book is a LOT harder for me to name, I have sooo many!!!!!

Let's see... Favorite Movie: "The Quiet Man", starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I've worn out the old VHS tape in the part where he finally has a fight with his neighbor/father-in-law...
Favorite Book: " Nice Guy 's Don't Get Laid ", by Marcus Pierce Meleton Jr. It's filled with a lot of useful information and humanisms. My favorite part is where he explains why women are attracted to the "jerk". It's funny and makes a lot of sense too...

My favourite book is Orwell's 1984, and if you have to ask why, then you need to read it! It's a life changing read, and scarily true today.
My favourite film depends on my mood :/ can be anything from Bugsy Malone to Seven or Memento

favourite film has to "Jean De Florette" french film made in 1986, starring Gerard Depardieu, and the sequel "manon des sources" which completes the story. and my favourite book which i have read countless times is " '48 " written by james herbert.

My favorite books to read are ones from Sylvia Brown......I believe that she has a great view about life, and if I have to believe something, I would much rather believe in what she says about life and death!....

The Quiet Man... My favorite John Wayne movie of all time! There are so many of his that are great but the scene with him draggin' O'Hara across the field is priceless!
