Happy 4th
I hope all members here have a safe 4th holiday.
Remember the reason and be thankful for those that had the intestinal fortitude to defend our freedom.

Even those that have served or are serving in any branch of military service and have never or will ever see live conflict or combat, just that fact that you are willing to do so, and have devoted yourself to do so, earns you our respect and gratitude all the same.

Exactly, Chazzy........ We definitely appreciate the ones out there on the battlefield, we also appreciate the ones behind the scenes that keep things runnin'! There's so much more to it than just the combat and we appreciate both sides of the coin...... so very much!!!!

Re: Happy 4Th
Here in Canada we celebrated our confederation on July 1st. 139 years as a nation. 91 years after the USA gained independence. We achieved ours by political negotiation as opposed to revolution and Canada and the USA have been the best of neighbours.
Canada also has many troops in Afghanistan and we too have lost men in battle against the Taliban. It seems like it is a never ending battle doesn't it.
