Round here there are about 4 cannons that are used for civil war re- enactments. We like to add them in on the fireworks display. Sure to make everyone jump

gonna go to 2 parades i think... maybe lucky enough to watch them being i'll be chasing my son around rather than him just sitting back and enjoying things for once and giving me a break. lol
then... watch fireworks from the stadium from one of my parents house (just so i dont have to pay the two dollar entrance fee just for a 'close up').
who knows what else. Play by ear i guess. happy 4th everyone.

I acutally get the night off from the hospital - the first time since I had my son - so I am taking him to fireworks and a BBQ/pool party

I'm stuck at the house, but at least I can see'm light Lewisville Lake, there normally about 30 displays on the lake every year!!!!!!!!!!

Watching fireworks tomorrow night.... my brother called and invited us over for a bbq on the 4th....... need to break out the horseshoes and warm up!

We're painting the house...what a blast, eh? Just glad it's a brick house and all the painting required is the huge front porch, trim, and the ugly pink 1970's addition..
Gonna throw some brats on the grill...that will be the highlight!

yet, i'll throw some "shrimp or pork chops on the barbie" and imbibe in a few cold ones...
be careful suggestin "throwing brats on the grill"...
MoonHowler has Tater, 2WildnKrazy has a couple...those "brats" mean something different for them..

Well I took them to the fireworks and they were great. They shot them off right above our heads. At one point, some of the downfall managed to find it's way into my boat. A nice black mess I'll be cleaning up tomorrow. The wife didn't take my advice though. I told her in an e-mail to bring extra warm clothes. The temperature can drop just like that out there, and it did. It went from a nice 77 to 57 with a wind chill making it 47 coming back. Ended up giving her my jacket and long pants to stop her teeth from chattering. People almost always never listen to me the first time...    But what are you gonna do...

We just got back from a little family gathering that was about two hours away. It was nice to see the cousins again. Tonight MA and I will go up town and watch the fire works. Hope every one had a good 4th of July.

had the best 4th ever. kona, hawaii is the place to be! balmy night, sitting on the rock barrier wall in kailua kona bay while the waves rolled in, feet dangling over the edge, watching the best fireworks over the sea. it's 80 degrees out and everyone is dressed sexy, happy, and filled with aloha spirit. wish you guys could all be here to party w/us!

It rained all frickin' day yesterday! But we needed it, so I'm not bitchin' And it quit right before dark! Got to light off fireworks after all. My brother's potbelly pig is a psychopath, wouldn't let anyone through the door without growling like a rabbid dog! But the raccoons were adorable! ...... hehe
