Is nothing Sacred from Cancer
I think they surely have found a cancer for everything now. I found out yesterday my Dad has a cancer in one eye. I've never heard of cancer of the eye before. This comes about a year after they found skin cancer on him, got that fixed. He's never smoked or drank in his life. The good news is they think they found it early enough to do a surgery & all he will have is a small scar.

Re: Is nothing Sacred from Cancer
40 something you are a kind person to ask. He says it doesn't hurt much, says it will be black for about a week but damn it looks awful. It's hard to look him face to face without my own eye watering. But thank you for asking, I'll tell him you ask about him , course I then have to explain who you are & where I know all of you from

Re: Is nothing Sacred from Cancer
Hey NRG4U: best wishes for your and your Dad...i know personally how cancer indiscriminately seeks out those we love and hold dear.
One of the positives I gained from my experience with cancer in my family is to cherish and relish your time here and with those you love...life marches on each day, every hour...
so grow in your love for your Dad and others in your life..
there is no "do-over" ....

I'll tell him you're thinking of him. But as far as introducing him to this site, uh I don't think so. Although I would introduce him to the wonderful people, ( & I truely mean that) my parents are very religous, to the point they make Billy Graham look like a sinner. The photos here, uh I don't think so.
