I'm hoping to still meet many more people from here face to face, and it will have nothing to do with sex. We won't just jump into bed with some one that we don't know. I've got some trips planned for this summer, and hope to stop and meet some from here. Have nice conversation, lunch, drink, coffee, pop, or something a little stronger if they prefer.

we have had plenty of "real" opportunities, however, when the time came ~ it just didn't feel right or both parties weren't ready to face the meeting or things just came up and prevented the meeting & visa versa ~ still remain in touch & considering future possibilities...it's tough pinning down the where, when and how. it's also tough when you're dealing w/living out a fantasy and remaining a professional in real life, but oh so exciting and that just seems to add exhileration to the hunt & chase.

hey mudgudgie ~ really don't understand why you feel this way. you've only been a member for a week. give it time. work up a strategy to get yourself into circulation. go to chat rooms, search for ppl in your area. things take time and you really shouldn't make a judgement call based on your experiences of just one week!  i've been here since march 06 & it took me a while to get the nerve up but i'm glad i let things progress in its own time. now, i have a network of friends that i feel a kindship too. you could have it too if you stopped bashing a place that you didn't even give a chance to really get to know.

Well, this whole emailing thing before becoming a member has not happened to me, but that's not the case here. How do you expect to meet someone online? Why does the whole procedure have to be different just because it's over the internet? I think that just like you meet people in real life, where first you get to talk, learn a few things, have fun and THEN things go to the next level (if they ever will), it's the same thing on the web. And that takes more than just a WEEK!!! Try the forums, the members that I have a more regular communication with, I met them there. Try the chat, and I mean chatting in the main room with everyone, not straight to private messages with women that have an attractive nick. Nicks could mean nothing after a while, it's the person in front of the screen that counts.
Of course that applies if you want to MEET someone... GETTING LAID is a whole different thing and other people on this thread have answered wisely.

I don't think abs was wrong at all. It was actually kind of shocking that he offered the guy his money back. Most webmasters would say, "you don't like the place, delete your profile yourself and be on your way". But, no, he offered the guy a chance to get his money back and have his account deleted. I think that was nice considering the guy said this place was shit. I just joined a couple days ago, though I have not received any emails, or anything really except a warm welcome. That my friend is what making a site is all about. And, I am not just saying this because I think abs is super sexy either.

There's always allot of talk about community and friendship here. That may seem so very unappealing and silly to some men who just want horny women to fuck them now, right now.
Most Adult personal sites do have screaming banners and ads that read something like " Get laid by hot women tonight!" It would be ridiculous for any man to think that a personals site has a shelf inventory of hot horny women , that immediately upon paying your membership, will be at your choosing and disposal.
Can you get laid by joining an adult website? Maybe if you start looking at a site like this as a tool to finally learn how to socially, romantically, and sexually interact with women, then yes, you're success rate of getting laid will increase not only here on the internet, but out there in the real world as well.

You don't like the site, If I were you , I'd take abs up on his offer to refund your money. The first post of yours in the forums happens to be a very negative one, after being on here for a whole 2-3 days, without giving it a chance. When I joined I had very little hope of "hooking up" because like Peter Pan, the local. I think I'm the only single guy in Nebr. I have however met some really good friends. If you were trying to post a Topic that would get a response, I'm pretty sure you accomplished that, although I think a little more subtle approach may have been better. You may as well delete your account, because after all the negativity you've brought here, I can see you're gonna be right popular with all the members here. I think abs & the mods put a lot of effort into making this site so enjoyable,( to those that give it a chance anyway). So for me personally, Thanks abs & the rest of the staff!!

This might sound stupid and very naive, but to me, the fact that I get the chance to meet people who live so far away, from such different cultures and after a while they become more than just a nickname on a computer screen, is the biggest accomplishemnt of WN. OK, so the chances of getting laid with someone from here are extremely limited for me because of the distance, but really, WN is so much more than that...
