Priceless!!!!!!
Airfare from HARTFORD CT to NORFOLK VA: $325 r/t
Taxi cab fare from airport to hotel: $16.50
Room at hotel: $159/nt
Mistakenly being assigned a room and walking in on a couple about to "get busy": PRICELESS!!!!!!

Just call HAMPTON INN, Virginia Beach, Virginia and ask for the soon-to-be ex-manager and ask him about this incident. I think his reply would sound something like "FUCK YOU" or something to that effect. His actions of saturday evening do not, a resume enhancement make!!!!!

That's a good one. Here's mine from 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Airfare from (won't reveal my home airport) to Houston (travel every week so not sure, about $600 I think).
Cab? Not usually, but about $200 for a rental SUV from Hertz for 2 or 3 days.
Hilton property hotel in Houston after a night of saki and sushi near enough to walk to (about $200/night).
4th floor room looking down on pool, window open and voices lead to looking down upon a woman in a bikini, losing the bikini with help from her male freind in the bubble covered hot tub area, knowing enough of anatomy and having enough visual acuity left to understand that her extended arm isn't rubbing his back and watching her mount him while the pool cleaner guy watches---priceless.

Here's another. In my younger years long ago, I was a meter reader for a utility company which meant going into people's houses to read meters. Meters are outside nowadays, but older homes had them inside. This is actually from Ann Landers long ago, but I have some good stories too:
Lady goes to basement where laundry is at. Maytag washer and dryer about $500.
Lady fills washer with detergent, about $6 for a box?
Lady finds that her clothes are dirty from cleaning, steps out of all of them and places in washer.
Leaky pipes overhead in basement so lady dons son's old football helmet to preserve hairdo. Football helmet, about $30 at Wal Mart.
Lady notes someone else is in basement and notes it's the meter reader who comments --- "gee, I hope your team wins" --- priceless.
