Why are profile pictures in here not of the face of the person --man/women requesting to enter and become a member of the site. I cannot understand how a person is to make a decision by looking at someone's anatomy male or female as their first choice. I think those type pics should be placed in as an alternative pic and not an entry picture of choice. Maybe I am being old fashioned but a nice smile may get you a lot further than anything else you can display. Any comments on this subject are open for discussion.. Remember about 6-8 drinks turns any dog into a fox or wolf but if you dont neeed them its nice to wake up with a wolf or fox next to you instead of a dog.

the way i kinda see it... is because you can see however many boobs or dicks, etc etc whatever else you wish to see... and not "know" who it is.. and when you see someone's face (especially when they don't feel entirely safe with that idea in mind yet)... you'll recognize that person across the street if you seen them.
For some it's a safety thing.

For some it's a safety thing.
Mind you this is a general opinoin on my part. From what I've encountered, most, not all, people who display body parts are looking for quickie short relationships. People who display head shots are looking mostly for longer relationships. There are also variations on this theme as bc mentioned. (for security reasons) Some are just shy too.

You are all right. For us it's more of a safty/security issue. Alright the real reason I don't put a face on here, I'm just so damn butt ugly, OK.  Don't want to scare anyone away.

I agree azcapt ive been saying that since day one i had XXX photos but i took them out because i think a smile gets you somewhere to i like to leave a little to the amagination .

Nahhh come on, XXX photos never hurt anyone, I only think that it's nice to have a "decent" picture on the profile, and put all the naughty ones in albums. But yes, as I have said in the past, it's nice to know you're talking to an actual person and not a dick (literally and/or metaphorically)

Ok, all very good answers......Just to add one more, most of the people here are "new" to this kind of lifestyle......So when they join, and see that people put those kinds of pictures up more often than anything else, it tends to just be a "invitation", or mabey an "expectation" for them to do it as well....People tend to learn by example....

very small town and a hubby who knows people from across the country made us choose to post our pictures the way we have. Just a little nervous about others "catching" us.
