NEW YORK JUSTICE
A Texan being tried on a murder rap in New York felt he wouldn't get a fair shake their, so he bribed one of the jurors to find him guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter. The jury was out for several days before they finally returned a manslaughter verdict. Afterward, the Texan took the juror he bribed aside and thanked him and asked him how he managed to convince the others of the lesser crime. It wasn't easy said the juror, "The others wanted to acquit you ".
