To Wear or Not to Wear ???????
I had lunch with a dear friend of mine, of the female persuasion. It was the first warm and decent day to meet for lunch, outside, this season. I always try to think of something funny to say to her, when out of the blue, I said that seeing it was going to be such a nice day, I had decided NOT to wear underwear. She followed that up with " I'm not wearing any either"!!!! We both laughed real loud and hard.
Do you think this subject is at all proper for two friends to be blurting out?? I said it just to get a rise out of her (a guy thing). What was her thing????? You ladies can be gross some times?????? lol

Yeh, we've always been flirty-type friends, but nothing more. We're both married and occasionally, our spouses call us on it. We do laugh at all the same things though. She's a sweetheart!!!

In a song I don't remember the name of, Jimmy Buffet sings about "I don't cut my hair and I don't wear underwear". I have a silver ponytail because I'm old. It looks good with a suit and, at the end of the day, I shower in my hotel room, skip the underwear, don jeans and a comfortable shirt, shoes without socks and find a dive with fun people for a couple of hours.
Being around a woman that is comfortable enough to say things about her underwear and such turns me on more than anything. I was 18 and worked for a woman boss. I had never had a woman boss and felt that I couldn't be myself around her like I could be around other men. In one of those moments when you're tired, it's late and you've worked hard for a long while, she suggested a break, just long enough to sit for a minute and said "wanna screw?" We laughed till we cried and became best of friends. The opposite sex can be so enlightening when they're comfortable with you. By the way, we never "screwed" and I never tried. We were both married.
Some years later, I became friends with a woman 20 years my senior. I mowed her lawn when I was a teenager and we encountered each other years later when she returned to town after a divorce. We had an instant friendship and I was fascinated with her stories of sexual awakening and sensual growing. I don't even know how we got there, it just seemed to happen. One day, we talked openly about children and how they enjoy running about naked and remembered our childhood joy in such. She said she would like to see me without clothes and I obliged. I still can't figure out why my mom cared so much about wearing underwear? When growing up, if I had a small hole or tear in them, she made me thow them away (if she didn't already get to themn first when doing laundry). When I asked her why was that so important, she told me that if she got into an accident and was transported to the emergency room, she would be mortified if the ER staff saw she had a hole in her underwear!
Now, having worked as an ER Tech in a Level V Trauma Center for nearly 4 years, I honestly don't recall if I saw a single female patient with a hole in her underwear? EVER!
Maybe there is something to what she says? Could it be that while I worked the ER, to put myself through college, that I missed out on something? This has to be the best kept secret women have from men!
Hell, I should have conducted my own study and submitted it as my thesis (would have been at least as useful and a hell of a lot more interesting (both to read and write) than what I did select.
If there is no best kept secret, then do you think that her belief has anything to do with her ironing hankerchieves and underwear?

that's a good friendship to have. Sometimes ya just have to "throw out a curveball." ...and no underwear...i dont' see anything wrong with that...although, my interest would have peaked when she replied she wasn't wearing any either.
this is just a simple example of not taking life so seriously and how something so "quirky" can really just add to the experience of the day.
