It all depends on what you've accomplished. If they're your soul mate, they would understand and not want you to risk everything you've accomplished, right?
But like I said, it depends on what those accomplishments are.

How do know for sure that they are your soul mate? That takes time, since they don't have a sign around their neck saying "I'm the one for you". I've had the unfortunate opportunity to talk with people that say, they really believed their spouse/significant other was their soul mate, and that was after the divorce/break-up. I say this for deeper thought, not to start something else.

i dont know much about soul mates... but i do believe there is someone for everyone. I believe in fate, and etc but dont really know if i know the meaning of soul mate or really have a good grasp on how it's suppose to go or feel to be with a soul mate?

I guess I should not have put this way! When I suggested the pole I was being selfish... I was thinkin' about my situation in life. I'm not sure if soul mate was the right term to use, however I know that I met the women that I thought was the one and I blew it, I did give up something that I probably I will never have again just to be able to succeed in life and be with my family (long story). So what I have accomplished seems worthless without her.......

i found my soul-mate, or he found me again! he knew it when we were in high school - i didn't - 28 years later, he's back and still in love w/me. now i know he's the one!

yes i would risk everything to be with my soul mate because life is worth the risk and i would rather be happy with the girl i love than be disapppointed with failing in life
