I noticed when i was much younger that it was aparently ok for two women to go to the bathroom together and hug. Not so with men. It seems that now it is getting more tolerable for men to use the bathroom together and hug. same thing for holding hands.
don't know wwhat i am really saying. Just more ramblings.

Re: Society
No, I grew up in a small town in central WI. I als oremember that if 2 men went to the bathroom together, it was automatically thought they were gay . Or at least it was implied.

Re: Society
I never understood why it is that it takes two women to go to the bathroom. Is it that they can't go without company? Do they actually need help with something?
In the upper mid-west, we are very, very, very conservative. It takes a long time before change is accepted. Only now are two men, or even women for that matter, able to walk down the street hand in hand, and not get that, , look.

Re: Society
I've noticed within the past few years, being gay has become more acceptable in society. I think that has a little something to do with it.

Re: Society
Well excuse me, but where I come from, two women or two men holding hands is definitely gay ... Now about two women going to the bathroom... What I've noticed is that 9/10 times their behavior changes when they come out, so I think they do some "strategic planning"... Men don't need to go together to do that, they already have two heads to think with.

A female friend told me long ago women go to the bathroom together so they can talk more in private. I think that if thy are on a double date, they should be honest enough to talk in front of the dates??

Re: Society
No, not really... can you imagine if one girl would tell to the other something like "I think Jim's package is too small for my taste... wanna switch?" in front of the dates???

This wouldn't really bother me. I prefer the honesty and then I could request that I get the chance to prove it.

Re: Society
Many moons ago, when I used to go to clubs, me and a friend would go to the bathroom together. Especially if it was only the two of us there together. Safety in numbers. Think about it that way

Re: Society
its a girl thing... nothings really going to stop it. Kinda like nothings going to stop a guy from scratching his crotch out in public.
Doesnt bother me with them scratching it, so why fuss about girls going to the bathroom together.

Not fussing. Just was wondering why. You've never wondered why about something??
