Depo Provera side effects include osteoporosis, osteopenia and bone density loss. Such conditions can greatly increase a woman's chances of suffering injuries such as broken bones and fractures despite that fact that they are otherwise healthy
It took the FDA fourteen years to require an adequate warning label on Depo Provera. Depo Provera has bee n the subject great concern, with many complaints having been made by women's groups for years prior to the updated warning on this long-standing controversial drug.
