who are you close to?
you have anyone in your family, or close friends that you go to, to talk about stuff from what kind of food you can/can't eat to the place you work? Or not even to just talk, but to hang out even when there's "nothing" to do?

Re: who are you close to?
My Mom was always the one person I could go to for anything. She's been gone a little over a year now. I do have one very good friend who lives nearby that I know that I can count on no matter what is going on the world.
What about you bc?

I hear ya, same here, it's not that I dont have anyone to go to, just dont feel like bothering other people with my problems, especially when I know everyone got smth going on in their complicated lives. I like to keep it to myself and cope with it, I've been like that all my life, is that wrong though?

Its not wrong......But knowing what is like to have someone in your life that you can go to and never feel that way.....I would have to say that you wouldn't see it as bothering, but compassion!....We could all use someone in our lives we can count on......But it takes a good friend to be a good friend!......
Unfortunately many people have a hard time trusting others.......Being that trust is the key to any relationship, not to mention communication, when you lack it in a relationship, it is doomed from the start!.....
What makes a good confidant?......
One that is trusting, not selfish, communicates well, not judgemental, and is capable of unconditional loving!!....

Re: who are you close to?
Nope no one, had to raise myself from age 12, learned early to be a loner, too many false, two faced, greedy "friends" I wish it had been different, but but I yam what I yam, and I am proud of what I have accomplished . A true trusted friend would sure have been nice though. Never had a shoulder to cry on, don't know what it's like.

Re: who are you close to?
I am not 'close' to anyone in my family because I had to grow up going to school 100 miles away from my family up until the end of my 10th grade year. So.. all I had was "friends" who never told me things straight up, always ended up stabbing you in the back anyhow and still to this day have friends like that or else they don't even treat me like human when I do go to something for them. Out of all the girls I know, I'd say my step-sister-in-law and I get along really well. (Unless you get my other step-brother's girlfriend around, then I'm left out). Then there is one of my other friends whose always got something going on with her mom's business, her horses, her boyfriend, etc etc etc. So, don't get to see her very much.
Overall, I'm pretty close to my son. Whether he may or may not understand what I'm entirely saying yet, he'll tell me it's okay even when I know it's not entirely okay. Then there's my friend, dick, too.
