I said it in the VIP section
want to say it here too.....
just because someone had the bright idea this was actually meant for someone... let alone someone else on WN. stop assuming. it wasnt, isnt, and was merely a question.
i never have nor ever will post any truly personal things on this or any website. i understand things were done with the best of intentions (and for that I'm touched) but i'd rather not deal with "assumed issues" that end up becoming real issues because of gossip. next time ask ME first if its a problem.

no i'm not in a mood. someone mistook something i said and passed it along to someone I actually care about and she got hurt over it.... all without anyone bothering to ask ME what I meant.

i didnt misunderstand anyone, no one came to me. all i know is someone dear to me was put in the position of getting hurt because someone assumed some things about me and didnt bother to clarify it with me before doing the "small town gossip" thing.
I'm not mad at anyone and things turned out good. I was just venting and maybe making a weak attempt from it ever happening again and allowing for a different outcome.

All I can say is...if you whisper a secret in someone's ear and make them promise not to tell, then that's what you should expect them...but it you say something outloud to a crowded room, you should expect them all to discuss, talk, gossip or disregard what you say.
There's no code, or rules in the VIP forum that governs anyone to a vow of secrecy. It's just another public forum message board. I too, hope that we could avoid this ever happening again, but there's always the human factor that will make it very much a possiblity.

i know that.. its a forum... a place of discussion... i never once said it was an actual situation or who it may be about if it were. people assumed and never bothered to stop and ask me (the topic originator) anything but instead ran off and told things to someone else and good intentions or not caused more damage than anything else. only reason it got posted in the vip section was by accident. anyway it's over and done, when she came to me about it all i was just a little pissy about it and posted this tread etc that I shouldnt have.
please miss Pepper?

I've re-read the thread several times yesterday, and I sure can see where anyone just might think it was an open discussion about a real situation and real people from the original thread post and a reply or two that followed.
The same kinda thing has happened to some of us others as well, maybe most of us! It does happen, no harm is intended, people do misunderstand each other.

All true, Chazzy, but if it makes someone feel better to have it gone and not have to think about it being dragged back up from page 90 at some time in the future, well, I don't think it would be a bad thing to help out with. But, I'll leave it up to you and bcb.
