I don't know, but is it possible for people to do private chat from the chat room? That way if someone wants to cyber sex , they can do it in private chat.

Maybe because " erotic chat " is a field to check off in the list of preferences when filling out profile details, maybe giving people the notion that the chatroom is the place to get and give erotic chat ( cybersex ) and confusing when they find something else is going on in there. I do know that cybersex does go on there, again, nuttin' wrong with that, but have heard it's uncomfortable for others to "walk in on" or be "walked in on" in the middle of cybersex .

In that kind of case I guess it would be a first cum first serve thing---or all join together and have one hell of a time....lol

I know that you're not going to able to provide a private chat room for every group that want's to cyber. However, I've seen on other sites, they may up to 6 or even 8 chat rooms for different types of converation. If I remember right they had a room for women only, guys only, room for introductions, they had a room for the hot and heavy stuff,
had a room for lesbians only, room for gay guys only, etc....

how about an ignore butto and if you are iggyed by more than half the room you are automatically kicked from room????

Good point! That's the kind of thing that make me wonder too!
Since I've had little time to spend in any chatroom, I don't know what people expect to find there, and what situations are handled in what way, and what goes on in open chatrooms on other sites...
I could just visit a few and see, but I'd rather someone with this kind of knowledge and experience to just tell me! (I'd rather spend my time here, than spend it checking out the chatrooms on "other" sites!)

Pepper and I have been know to start a few of these, and would get to involving one or two more members. But also noticed that as members came into chat they quickly would leave.

Some people hit the door "primed for cyber". No hellos to the room just off to private w/o being asked or asking and making unwelcome comments/requests. I think common courtesy demands at least a regard for someone elses feelings and wishes. Over the past week I have observed several individuals log in to the room, fail to respond in any way to greetings from all but their target(s) and try to engage some of the gals in immediate cyber privately. If declined they just log off, still no acknowlegement to the members in chat BEFORE they logged in. This is not Yahoo chat or MSN! We are here by choice and MUST treat each other with some kind of respect or become a "snakepit". Maybe a cyber room as a trial-close it if it gets "out of hand" (pun intended). This is for fun....lets keep it that way! [Getting off of my soapbox now]

how about the ability to conference chat from the lobby, instead of only one on one ? It seems most want to get together with 3 or more . that's why they do it on the lobby
