Where do you go to destress !!!
Where do you all go to destress and unwind ??? The bar, the bedroom, or just getting the hell out of Dodge for awhile !!! Inquiring minds want to know...

It's hard for me to be alone most of the time. I either come here or stay up late at night doing some plastic canvas work. Or reading, which I love to do but rarely have time for...... I haven't been to a bar in AGES! Can't remember what it's like.

I take the dog for a long walk, even if it's below zero knee deep snow, and 3 am....I live in a very rural area, so the walks are pretty calming.

Usually take walks around the property or go up to the giant Sequoias up the road and trip around through the woods. Trying to find new places we haven't....uhhh....defiled yet !!!

For me it's WN, or get into CSI, got the entire CD set of seasons 1-4. Ride my motorcycle, ride MA, if we can get together . This weekend we're heading out town to Duluth, MN just for the hell of it.

If I'm in a good mood and want to relax I play the guitar. If I want to relax from work related stress I just grab the joypad on the PS2, put a shooting game and kill every motherfucker while listening repeatedly to "Sleepless" by Anathema.

I will get in my car and just drive to no certain destination with the music cranked up.
If i can't go anywhere I go to my room and clean up anything that needs to be cleaned.
Never was one to really throw a whole big scene like some people may. I just leave before I make an ass of myself.

Usually I take the dog and go for a ride in the car with the music turned up. Usually skyline drive or some of the backroads up the mountain here. The scenery is beautiful and it takes my mind off of whatever was bothering me.

If you have a Discovery store there in Virginia, they have some pretty good ones that are somewhat affordable. Not for me, lol, but for some, I reckon.

Sometimes...and this may shock a few of you....I go to this other adult site, and their forums have no moderators at all, that what I said....ABSOLUTELY NO MODERATORS!!!
Anyway..so I go there, and usually have no trouble finding some topic or poster that annoys the fuck outta me, and I just start RIPPIN' 'EM, UP!! I mean I chew 'em up, spit 'em out and grind 'em down under my foot.....Ohhhh Gawd...let me tell ya how good that'll make ya feel!!!!

Can't tell ya the site, cuz several years ago, my husband uploaded quite a few extremely explicit photos of me there, and they don't seem to have a "delete" feature (I've looked high and low!!!!)....so you'll just have to take my word for it....it really feels sooooooooo good !!

Mostly I've learned to just relax without doing anythin out of the ordinary Mellow music definatley helps but much is in the mind set. What did I do this weekend?? WEll worked on the truck and because I am changing to a high speed internet thingy I do not hav phone line naymore. I went to a motel 2 blocks from where I live, got a room, had a very good meal with wine. Like I am not even close to home.
See, where I drive truck, I do not have the luxury of being able to take a few minutes. I have to be able to relax almost immediately after something or someone happens that isn't good.

I believe you Chazz. I used to work with a guy who was tweaked so bad he was picked up by McCook police dept. They found him in a tree wrapped in tin foil so he could survive the rays that martians were shooting at him. Another time he was 3 hours late for work cuz martians abducted him & took him to a planet called Trion & ran some experiments on him & then brought him back but thats why he was late. I swear all of this to be true.

When things are really stressed, I turn on the Ipod to high, and hit the pavement, I have run over 5 miles getting the stress out. It really works, turn off your mind and just concentrate on putting one foot in front of each other. Probably have done my best times, when my kids drive me crazy!!!

STRESS,,,,I forgot what that was when I retired, but just to do something I go to the forest preserve alot and walk or jog and also to the mall especialy in the warm months lots of T&A and nice people there who always want to talk about something
