speed dating
Just seen on msn news how they were talking about speed dating. Have any of you done it, or have this kind of thing where you live? What's it like? You like doing that? All that good kind of curious questions.
Anyhow.. like on the video clip i was just watching they said that women seek chemistry when they first meet a guy and guys goes by looks. They say women do that because they have very few to spread around (as in eggs in the ovaries) and guys goes by looks because they can give more (something along that line anyways).
Thought it was interesting and thought i'd run it by the rest of you ladies/guys and see what your thoughts are on the speed dating thing. Kinda thought it was funny in a way because when they were discussing this (2 ladies and a guy)... they were talking about more of a serious relationship sort of thing rather than just casual dating if anything did proceed from the first two minutes of meeting someone at a occasion like this. Who knows how often that happens with speed dating.

I have heard of it, but never have participated in it.....Is it odd, yes, however, Im sure there are a few hits every once in a while......
I do believe if your going to have chemistry it is usually something seen or felt immediately, so hell, why not?....

I never been to a speed dating thingy lol but if i ever had the chance or money to participate in one when they are near me which i do know there are some places they do that in the St. Louis area since i looked it up before
ok now when it comes to chemistry thats what i look for first and attraction once thats involved then i see does this girl seem to fit into my life style and if that goes good then i let love take its course from that point on...but if its true love or soul mate then a whole other story which kinds of reminds me i talked to this one girl not here on web naughty unfortunately  but we had so much in common i can't begin where to tell you other members its like i felt more than just chemistry while talking to her but if things go good i will keep you other members here informed

they have speed dating parties in my area...$25 to attend...the ladies are seated at tables and each man has the opportunity to spend exactly 6mins with each woman...they aren't allowed to exchange ph# and such with each other at that time...must be given to the moderator and then they contact the desired partner for permission to give out any info to the contact. From what I've heard..most people go just for the cajun style food that is served...

That'd be the only reason I'd go... for the food!
