Re: Limewire
Ive heard both, and there's always the whatever, and whatever lite argument going on, dirty versions and clean versions....I've been sticking with emule+, and virus scanning everything I download...
As far as music..allot of safe sites offer some really good free downloads, MTV, Amazon, etc...
(I get my programs from "majorgeeks", they check for viruses, trojans, spy and adware and immediatly reject or pull any dirty versions)

Re: Limewire
Its pretty good, I use it, but I don't remember how it works, just know I can download and copy anything to CD's.....My friend paid a fee for something, and I think it was one time, (thats what I don't remember) however he was able to give me the code and I was able to use it on my desktop....Just not sure if paying had anything to do with burning them.....Just might have made it faster....I'm sure someone will know how it works.....
But, besides the paying factor....I like it!....I used to use napster, so much better and Cheaper!.....

Re: Limewire
ive been using limewire.. guess the only complaint i have about it as of right now it doesnt play more than one song. i mean, you click on a song to listen to and thats it. When its done... it doesnt go to the next song. You gotta manually click on them.... even when you go thru the list to click play list or something like that, it still wont do it.
But on a brighter note it does download quicker than anything else i've had for downloading music.

Re: Limewire
I use the new, improved Winmx, have a lifetime membership to it.
I like it, my only concern is that like all download or file sharing programs, it makes the comp run veeeeeeery slooooow....

Re: Limewire
I use it. To play more than one song you need click on the Library Tab then select a song, Enqueue them to the bottom section then check either continuous or shuffle. I use the pro version. Hope this helps ya.

Re: Limewire
Honestly, I tried Limewire and I did not like it. Winmx slows the comp down, but not nearly as bad as limewire did!
I paid $42 for a lifetime membership to the New Winmx and if for nothng else than audobooks, it's worth it!

Re: Limewire
I have used many of the free download sites out there and prefer limewire.I have tried limewire ,as well as limewire pro and have had only a few problems with viruses so make sure you have a good antivirus that is up to date and you should be fine
