They really are pretty, though... not sure if they'll grow in your area or not

Re: Arbor Day
Great idea posting this Moon! EVERYone, plant at LEAST one tree this Arbor Day. Every year I plant 3 small, wild evergreens. Sometimes wild Juniper (trees, not the shrubs), white pines, white cedars, balsams, etc. This place is going to Hell fast---we'll need the oxygen!

Re: Arbor Day
when my second wife and i were still married and getting along,(a rarity) we used to take chairs out to the front yard on a nice spring day, and have a couple of cold beers while sitting under a beautiful maple tree. the lowest branches were just about 6 feet from the ground. with a slight breeze blowing, it made a great, shady place to spend an afternoon/evening. never could talk her into having sex with me there tho.....DAMN!!!!!!

Re: Arbor Day
The local junior high school is celebrating Earth Day this Friday, which is also Arbor Day. They're having a "wear all green" contest and charging $1 for green hair painting, games, snacks, etc... the proceeds will go towards plants to put around the school. I'm very proud of them
