Does absence really make the heart grow fonder
If this is true then does that mean that you really love people that you have never met??? or is it just another play on words? I think that the heart just grows fonder of someone because you think of them more. And if that is the case then they dont have to be absent for you to grow fonder of them. Actually you grow more fonder of them the more you see and talk to them. or do i just need to quit thinking so much

I believe absense makes the heart grow fonder......IF the love is already there, then absence can make you realize just how much that other person truely means to you...mentally, physically, emotionally and so on.....I know this from experience!!!!

i would have to agree with what they all say when you are absent from someone you care about for a period of time it does definatly make you think about how much this person means to you and how much you really care.

I think that absence just makes things harder... it all depends of course on the time period, if we're talking for a couple of weeks then it's ok, but if we're talking for months or even years then... why bother??? It also depends on how long you've been with someone and then he/she has to go away. But in general I'm not into long distance relationships... I want to know that my gf will be there for me, by me (on top of me, under me etc) and that we'll enjoy what we have, not torture ourselves through phone calls or emails...
