Kindness ,is it a weakness
Ive always heard kindness is a weakness.I used to not believe it but know im starting to.There are people who use these kind of people to sadisfy there needs.Now a days the nice guy finishes last.What happened to kind,outgoing people that set goals for their lives and respeted their neighbors and people around them.Ther a dieing breed.You cant get ahead that way in life anymore.People are always thinking about thereselves.Thats ok somtimes but all the time.?Everybody has a whats in it for me mintality,or i cant get anything from you so I dont want to have anything to do with you.Thats a f****d up world.And its getting worse.

I do agree that it seems everyone is out for themselves. This is especially true for businesses. Seems most [WN the exception} businesses care nothing for thier customers/ clients. I simply talk to everyone and listen to how they enunciate. [hope I spelled that correcly] Also watch the body language. It is ok for people to be forward and determined. It is another matter to try and con or force another person to do something they do not wish.
if it doesn't feel right for you tell them you are not interested.

OK, I can see your frustration....I am one of those who would be considered a "good guy" and I have learned that when your a giver people tend to take advantage, however those are the people who will get no where in life..Not to mention they are miserable people.....You get what you give.......You will have to learn to weed those people out.....And there should be no problem figuring out who they are!.....Be proud of who YOU are!...... I look for people who are respectful and honest..and if they don't have those qualities, then they are not worth the time of day!......

I agree it is a great quality to have and becoming a rare quality , unfortunatly there are a lot that take advantage of that quality. Be proud of that quality.

always being nice/kind/etc. just gets your ass walked on.. sometimes you need to bite the big dogs balls to let them know you exist.
learned that one from my mini daschund (well until the big dog bit him back and he died but up to that last time it worked flawlessly)
