Ground breakers!!!
Katie Couric!!  Does any one notlike Katie??
When there's a "First women to ever..." in the news, I'm alway torn between feeling elated with another milestone for women, and sad that it's taken so long to get this far...

I am a CBS kind of gal!.......Love the morning show, so I haven't watched her in a while, Although I did like her with Matt Lauer.......Used to watch them when he first came on.....
Looking forward to seeing her at night during the news!.....Your right chazzy, she is a cutie!...

I guess I'm impressed with her cuz I'm assuming that since she has always looked like a "junior highschool pixie" that she must have had to work even harder to be taken seriously!

I can understand.....Paula Zahn....don't like, Barbara Walters, can only take in small doses, very annoying woman, but an exceptional woman in her career....

I usually watch Kouric and Lauer in the morning. I like the show. I am happy that Katie has gotten this opportunity, but am not sure it i really the best decision. I hope she does well in this.

Ditto........not to fond of Matt either......both are alittle to bias for me. Being news anchors they are suppose to give both sides without showing support for either,,,don't see that with them.

Ok, I will  I have great respect for Sally Ride and also for Shirley Muldowney. They were firsts in their areas and paved the way for a lot of other women to do what they wanted to do.
One of my favorite actresses is Queen Latifah, she is a big lady and proud of t. Not just in size, which honestly, I never think abut, but also in heart, she'd happy and accepting of herself the way she is and doesn't care who doesn't like her.
